Cotton Velour Wipes
100% cotton terry on one side, 100% cotton brushed velour terry on the other side, but it's woven that way as one layer. One layer means the edges do twise, which can happen when two different fabrics are sewn together and shrinkages are slightly different. You can choose a full-size baby wipe, 8x8 inches. Fold in half to fit into wipes warmers. Or choose the smaller 5x8 size which fits nicely in your hand and in some wipes warmers. Many velours are woven over a polyester grid, but not ours! Ours are 100% cotton. That is great because polyester tends to hold odors but cotton washes easily. These are intended to be used as as a baby wipe to wipe baby's bottom, but they have plenty of other uses too. The big ones can be folded in half and used as a small doubler. Great in the bathtub, diaper bag or anywhere for little faces and hands. Babies are very wet people, and these nice, soft wipes are great to have on hand. Because they are 100% cotton, they are easey to wash and don't retain odors. Did I mention cotton doesn't retain odors like polyester does? GMD Slide-Lock Diaper Pins
I really do love to pin. A pinned diaper is so classic, comfortable and adorable. After much frustration trying to find excellent diaper pins, we had our own custom manufactured for Green Mountain Diapers to our specifications. We specified the angle and sharpness of the points so we could get pins that are sharp and more tapered at the tip. I am very happy with these pins. Sharp pins slide through fabric more easily than blunt pins. Lubribating pins by pushing the point into a bar of Ivory soap before using helps any pin slide, so do lubricate your pins. The stainless steel part of the pin needs to be sturdy enough not to bend when you slide them through fabric. These pins are both sharp and firm and without burrs. Good pins do make pinning a little easier. I can't be sure but I think these just might be the best diaper pins anywhere. They are the best I've ever seen in my 12 years selling cloth diapers. They don't have fancy box packaging. They are open stock without packaging. That saves money and materials. They have slide-lock baby-safe heads. Made in Malaysia. In white or blue only. Two-Sided Wipes
Cotton terry on one side, soft flannel on the other side. Terry is great for the main job, and the nice, smooth, gentle flannel is great for the final touch-up details. White cotton is the best color for wipes, so you can see what you are doing. 5x8 inches, approximate measurements before washing, and they will shrink somewhat. I love this size, the feel, and the practicality of the 2 different sides. May fit in your wipes warmer without folding. This wipe is Karen's favorite, because I find it easiest to use several wipes per poopy change, grabbing a fresh wipe as needed, rather than folding a larger wipe over and over. These wipes are a less overwhelming size for a young baby's small bottom, yet still fine as baby grows. To me, flannel on one side and terry on the other has the best "feel" for the job. You might see a thread that needs to be trimmed after the first washing, so trim it. The picture shows them after washing. An inexpensive wipe in the perfect size. Fits well in most wipes containers. Suggested amount: 4-5 packs for a young baby, 3 packs for an older baby. 100% cotton. Made in Pakistan.

Great with prefolds! Made of a stretchy polyurethane, they have grippers similar to ace bandage closures (but bent back around, not poking down) which hold the prefold in place without pins. I didn't care for these at first, being a committed pinner, but now I love them! I use a Snappi first now, and pin only if I can't find my Snappi. I still enjoy pinning, but using a Snappi is just a little bit faster, and, I just love the new colors. Those moms who like these, really love them a lot!
